Metalock Cold Stitching Services

Since 1977, BASREC is an accredited member of the Metalock International Association Limited and as such holds the exclusive rights in Bahrain and Qatar to operate the Metalock process for the cold repair of metal castings. Metal stitching is a permanent repairing process for cracked, broken and fractured casting body which can’t be welded and BASREC has over the years become an acknowledged leader in this process.

The services include:

• Repair of cracks to cast iron, steel, aluminum and other alloys
• Maintaining alignment, original surfaces, and dissipating of stresses
• Onsite service with little or no need to dismantle
• Restoration of full operations in days at a fraction of replacement cost
• Repairs to casting constructions: Compressor Casings; Pump Casings; Motor Pedestals; and Engine Blocks
